Headed Home

Hello all, Here I am in Des Moines, Iowa.......... Not much to tell about getting here...........The road was pretty much flat and straight, I never had to remove the cruise, except for the toll booths...... Ohio really likes their roads, their toll was $15.50. Illinois was not so bad, their toll was $6.25. Pa. was a whopping .65cents......... The first thing I saw when I got to Iowa was acres and acres of dried out corn fields. Then when I got here I saw acre after acre of dried out corn fields. In between there was, you guessed it, fields and fields of dry corn. They were cutting it down and trucking it somewhere. Wonder what that was all about. Maybe popcorn???????? Today I'm headed up towards the Badlands in S. Dakota, maybe there will be more to tell you, in the next episode.......... So till than, Be good, take care, Love The Dad

Hi, this will be short and quick, as I haven't much new to tell you..........I visited the House yesterday it's a real disaster. there is mold all over the basement, can't go in there without a mask. going to be a real chore cleaning it out.........Pretty sure we will have some legal advice tomorrow, just waiting for a return call, they called me but as I am not a resident of Pa. they couldn't tell me anything. But they will tell Sue..........For those of you who care I will be headed back on Wednesday. I will be coming back, the southern route, instead of the northern route as I had planned, really don't want to get in the snow, it could take longer if they close some of the passes, as they have been known to do.
